Mizu Sushi and Seafood is located right on Mission Bay. It is a small restaurant with a small sushi bar. The fish has always been tasty and fresh, the rolls and nigiri of good quality and variety.

If you sit in the restaurant area for sushi, the service can be slow. Especially when the restaurant is not overly busy. The sushi bar is small but the sushi chefs are all pleasant and adept at their craft.

My kids have also eaten some of their non sushi items, like chicken katsu. Both enjoyed it very much and asked for more, and at three, can you really want anything else?

We go to Mizu all the time and they have never disappointed us! We love the Sashimi salad and the rainbow rolls. They so often surprise us with complimentary misu soup and/or edamame. It's great to see a local business grow and improve, even during these difficult economic time -- it's a tribute to their hard work!!!

I used to live next door to Mizu and would go here for take-out when I didn't feel like making dinner. They have a great variety to choose from and I really liked the combination plates that came with soup.
