Not what I expected.
I visited Mitchell's as recently as last week, hoping to have a better experience than previous occasions.
(The last time I was there, the fish was so dry, someone in my party actually requested tartar sauce just so they could get it down -_-)
Regardless, I know Mitchell's is a respected name in the area so I thought it would be a good place to meet someone for a drink.
Well, the bartender could pour a Guinness, but that was pretty much the extent of her service as she couldn't have been more indifferent.
She literally the bar completely unattended for a significant period of time. It wasn't busy, but never in my life have I been in a fine dining restaurant for 5-10 minutes without a single employee being present.
It was like a Ghost Town.
However, I'm easy going and work as a waiter so I'm pretty understanding about these things.
What I'm not understanding about is a dish labeled as a "Fish Market Specialty" tasting like something from T.G.I Fridays.
We had three appetizers and they ranged from, "I'd eat this again" to "Get this out of my face."
In summary, I'd avoid this place when there are so many superior options at a comparable price.
