insects
It looks like a nice restaurant until you start paying attention at what is walking on the floors. Waiters seem used to the presence of insects. They just offer you to change table. Note: the program checking the contents of the review does not allow me to write the name of the insect but I guess you can imagine what it is.

Great French Bistro
Our party of 6 adults stumbled upon this restaurant during a visit to Charleston. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was very authentically French Bistro. The portions were not too large, which was nice, and we all were served different vegetables as side dishes. Go when you're hungry, the table next to us said the creme brulee was delicious, but we didn't have room for dessert.

French food by Fanny K. at InsiderPages
The restaurant looks good and the food can be excellent, or it can be very bad. You have to be lucky when you come here and that is always a problem with any restaurant. I always want to feel confident when I eat out that the food will be better than just passable. There are no guarantees here. You could hit it just right and have a delicious mean, or you could suffer through dried out fare, it's a toss of the dice.

Simply suberb food and service
We were starving as we hadn't eaten at all and it was 2:00 in the afternoon.
We were welcomed and seated in a moment. From the fresh bread and
butter to the delicious onion soup ( lots of cheese).....I had the duck salad
which was warm and fabulous with a hint of a sweet taste. My partner
had niciose salad which was wonderful and fresh. We split the creme brulee
and it was just perfect.
The whole thing was reasonably priced and it was just fantastic.
Couldn't have been better.

french cuisine by Really 2. at InsiderPages
OMG, this restaurant is absolutely the best french food you can get outside of France. The escargots in an herb butter were better even than what I had eaten in France. The wine was recommended to us by the owner and was inexpensive and tasted perfect. The music was very nice and the whole experience, food, wine, music, atmosphere, had us staying until they closed. Such a great place, will definitely be going back the next time we're in Charleston.
