Mission Hills Tennis‎
While I agree with most of what has been said here it should also be pointed out that Mission Hills does have one of the prettiest tennis facilities in the coachella valley. While it's true that Debbie and Carolyn couldn't arrange a good match if their life depended on it and Steve, the club pro, will ignore you unless you pay for a lesson. Mission Hills offers no clinics or member tennis services, but if you don't need this and you arrange your own games you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer club.‎

Golf, Tennis & Food‎
My wife and I retired and purchased a home here at Mission Hills a little over a year ago. We are very happy with the golf, the grounds, and the club house. The golf staff couldn't be nicer. The tennis program is below average. They don't offer clinics or game matching services. The quality of the staff is also a little weak. We wish they served better food at 55th and the tennis center. Both are over priced for the the quality and the service is quite slow. They also have a strict dress code and won't even serve you if your shirt doesn't have a collar. It's a little strange. If you only play golf you should be happy here.‎

Discounted Membership?? Not really worth it.‎
My wife and I joined Mission Hills this summer to take advantage of the "Summer Discount". We have since dropped our membership and joined another club. It is very sad because they have such a beautiful facility but virtually no tennis management. The "Pros" don't evaluate your game offer tips on improvement but worse they have no idea how to arrange games with other comparable players. Save your money and look at a some of the many other tennis programs in the Desert. We ended up at the Palm Springs Tennis Club and we are very happy here.‎

Great golf, poor tennis‎
It's clear the priority of Mission Hills is on the golf course. 3 great courses with reasonable green fees. It's to bad the same can't be said for the tennis program. Poor service, unkept courts and virtually no programs.‎

Mission Hills Tennis Vacation??‎
In March 09 we rented a tennis condo at Mission Hills CC for two weeks. We wanted to play tennis in the morning and go to the Indian Wells tennis matches in the afternoon. When we arrived we were disappointed to learn that Mission Hills offered no community activities like clinics or drop in play days. They only offered private tennis lessons at $70 an hour. They had nothing for the kids. When we asked to be matched with some fellow 3.5/4.0 couples we were tersely informed that they did not "track" players abilities and we should book our own matches. How can we do that when we don't know anyone? We ended up playing tennis at Racho Las Palmas and the Desert Springs and had a great time. If you're looking for a great Palm Springs tennis vacation I'd recommend the Marriott Desert Springs.‎
