a must do if you are in the Vail/Beaver Creek area
This is Colorado! You got to take a night to spend at the Minturn Saloon. Excellent Mexican and American food - duck, quail, and ribs are specialty. Great Margaritas in a really fun and relaxed setting. Big roaring fireplace in the winter. Great riverside deck in the summer.

Patio overlloks the river, nice ambiance. Good selection of items on menu from trad mexican to fancy. Had a great time. Service was great, but our waittess got slammed. No complaints at all. Will eat here again.

The Minturn Saloon my favorite apres ski spot! It's tough to find a spot up against the old buiding to lean your skis on a powder day. An unpretentious local hot spot, the Saloon has great margaritas and the best salsa EVER!
