My first bad experience was about 25 years ago. I had gone there to check out new cars. I wasn't sure if my credit would qualify me so I filled out some paper work. I got approved. I told the salesman I needed time to think about it and I would get back to him. That salesman called me everyday at WORK till I finally ordered him to stop calling me. let him know his approach didn't work for me and I would never buy a car there.

I had bought a 2003 preowned Honda in June and it was totaled late August 2006. My insurance covered a rental for about 30 days. I needed to hurry up and find a new car. I went to MIller Honda of Culver City not because I was going to buy a car there, but they are my local Honda dealer and I wanted to see what was on their lot. I told them my story and they seemed so sympathetic and eager to help. I had gone there wanting to replace the car that was totaled, a 2003 Honda accord ex. We looked all over and they didn't have anything. The salesman kept showing me other things. He saw my desperation and need and he began to try and capitalize on it. I left the lot and told them that if any 2003 EX's came in to give me a call, I was only up the street. About an hour later the phone rang and the salesman told me someone who took a car earlier that week's credit came back not good so they had to bring the car back. I raced over there. I sat in the car, it was nothing like the one I just had. It had cloth seats, not leather and no sunroof. When I asked the salesman about that he said they could add one. I told him I thought they were standard features, he told me they were not. They offered to pay to add an after marked sunroof or leather seats. One or the other. Then they tried to over charge me.
