I have been to Millbrae Lumber several times, and they are one of a few family-run lumber yards on the Peninsula. They offer a wide-range of high-quality building materials. The staff is quite knowledgeable as well as friendly and personable. In particular, the manager is very well-informed in the construction business and is always willing to work with you. I would categorically recommend this company to anyone looking to do a re-model.

This is one of the last lumber yards left on the peninsula! With the encroachment of those big Do-it-yourself cookie cutter stores, only a few of these shops have managed to stay around. While they may not have everything in those big stores, the quality of the stuff that they do carry is far superior. If you need any lumber, do yourself a favor and go here. They not only know their stuff, but they also carry quality wood.
