We love Millard Roadhouse. It is a great casual family dining experience. The staff is so friendly and it feels like they know all of their customers personally. Whenever we have family or friends visit from out of town, it's the first place we take them to eat. Their large menue selection doesn't hurt either.

For several years I've passed through Omaha on my way to other places. My favorite motel was in the boonies which left me very few close places to eat. Finally, I did some online research, mapped out the area, and found Millard Roadhouse. Boy, am I glad I did! The place specializes in chicken of all tasty incarnations. It's been a month since I was there and can't remember the names of what I ordered, but my companion and I liked the Millard so much we ate there coming and going from our vacation. On both visits we got the same waitress. She was cheerful and very helpful. Thank goodness, because the menu had so many good looking items, we needed help. The value for the dollar is good. The place looks a bit dumpy, but, as I've advised in other reviews for other restaurants: Don't LOOK at the place, just EAT!

Down home cooking - try the spicy gravy ... on ANYTHING. The chicken is fabulous. Haven't had a thing that I'd consider even so-so. Great waitstaff... a family place where we feel like part of the family (maybe it's because we go there 2-3 times a month).
