Balboa is a place to call home, They have great maintance who care about the property, a GREAT MANAGER, and the best leasing agents, Balboa is in the process of being remoled, There are great water views. IF LOVE TO LIVE ON THE WATER BALBOA IS THE PLACE!!!

Balboa Apartments is a great place to live. You get treated with respect every time you in to the office they have great staff that works together and that cares about us residents. If you need somwhere to live i think you should give them a call and tell them you would like to become a resident!! You won't reget it!!

After reading the other reviews, I felt that I needed to write a current one. In the past six months the property has been so much better. They have hired new maintenance men who actually seem to like there job and work 7 days a week to improve the property. I was only there for a couple months while staying with a friend but I am getting my own apartment there in a couple weeks. So if you like living on the water and have a little patience for all the improvements they are doing then this is the property for you!!

Btw, the no heat in winter/ no a/c in summer is easy to explain! Maybe that's the way it was but not anymore. The property is a chilled water system which means you can have either heat or cold. The new maintenance man is very good about making sure he switches back and forth depending on the weather. And here in Texas where the weather changes everyday, that's saying something!!

Do you like mold, no heat in the winter for long periods of time, no A.C. in the summer for weeks at a time, pipes busting and floding your apartment, clogged sinks, no hot water, paying for electricity left on in empty units, elevators that close on you, lying office personel, leaking roofs, paint fumes comming through your air vents, fire in the build you live in, set by an employee of the complex,having your home phone tapped by an employee, constantly changing office staff, slime in the swimming pool, then this is the place for you.To top it all off, a lease thats one big scam !!!! READ IT TAA ! It's hard to believe you support this company ! You should get out your little red book and " ETHICS " for your members, then see if you would allow this company to use your " member of " symbol. They make your orginization look pretty awful. Hmmmm... Have they ever not been a member and still used your leases ? Might want to check that out.. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The owners should be ashamed of themselves, but, it's clear they do not care about their reputation. By the way mik ob, your court activities are viewed by many.

as a resident at one of Mikob's Nassau Bay properties for 2+ years now I am extremely qualified to write this review. No heat in the winter, no ac in the summer, no maintenance and no support whatsoever from "management". frequent "management" staff & maintenance staff turn over. if you come in contact with a Mikob property run as fast as you can away from it; unless misery is your thing. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND living at a Mikob property anywhere in the Houston area.
