i remember i used to go to this pet store as a kid...most of the time just to look at the animals...sometimes to get my dog groomed by them. i would very much recommend their grooming services if you are in the area.

when i visited here very recently, it was mostly on a whim since i usually go to the albertsons down the street...but i needed to get some supplies for my newly adapted [very spoiled hermit crabs]...they didn't seem to stock everything, and not everything was priced. there were some things that they had that i haven't seen in other pet stores, such as this lagoon looking thing where you're supposed to keep your baby turtles. [HORRIBLE place to keep turtlets...good place for crabs though]

i kinda wish they had more variety in their reptiles though because i'm thinking about adopting one.

i think they are bird breeders too because they had their exotic birds just chilling outside their cages, and they were helping a customer with their sick baby macaw.....i ended up leaving the shop with 3 new green turbo shells from india for my crabs...AT 25 CENTS EACH...

Convenience was the first reason we went to Mike's Aquarium and Pet Center. We needed food for our Beta and two Rainbow boas. When we first walked in we were greeted by the Macaw's and Amazon parrots. Beautiful birds that you can interact with.

We looked at other snakes and a variety of fish. The prices were very competitive to what we've seen in other stores. I do believe MIke's has a more unique selection.

The service was good and we were able to find everything we needed. We even discussed maybe getting one of the beautiful Macaws to add to our menagerie.

I went to Mike's for the first time yesterday 2-22-08 looking for some new fish. Everyone was so helpful. I ended up getting several new saltwater fish way less than other fish stores. They were able to answer all my questions and will test your water no charge! Great store,nice people. very helpful & friendly,I will be going back soon. Thanks Mike for a great store!!
