I too first went to Mike for an alteration job. He and his wife deliver excellent service. I have bought many suites, coats, pants, and custom shirts all are stylish and wonderful. All alterations on purchases are included in the very very fair price. And if it turns out not quite right they will fix with no questions asked. I know what the other reviewer was saying about the old building and the hint of musty smell, but the clothes are just fine -- it's all just part of the experience. I have given him so much business over the past few months (my first in Sac and working for a suite company, that my wife asks if I am funding their retirement.

I usually go to mikes when I need my pants hemmed. They have a pretty fast turn around. The prices are pretty affordable. They have other services available besides sewing as well

I found myself at Mike's when I needed a pair of pants hemmed by the following day. I work downtown, needed a place close by and was surprised to find out how few tailors are in the area! Fortunately Mike's seamstress did a good job and I will return with other items. The unfortunate thing about Mike's is that it's located on a part of the K Street Mall that has yet to be redeveloped. The building is old and smells musty. They offer a large selection of men's suits for sale, but I'd be concerned about the old smell seeping into the fabric. This is such a great location though as far as convenience, prices were fair, and service was good... I hope their building gets updated and the area gets cleaned up. It's too great of a service to lose downtown!
