Mike Gibson's shop was recommended to me by Ron at Ron's Volvo in Pasadena when I needed work done on my Chevy. That was 4 years ago. Since then, Mike's shop has been the only place I'll take my cars (Ford Vic and Chevy SUV). Why? Clean and organized shop, fair prices compared to other shops and way better than a dealership, excellent communication skills, and if you need to leave your car for a day or two, the Metro Gold Line's around the corner to get to downtown L.A. (where I live) or to Old Town Pasadena. The quality of service at Mike's is what should be the standard at every American company but is now the exception. Five Gold Stars in my book. Russ.

I've taken 2 family cars to Gibson Service Center for the past 4 years, and have been more than satisfied with the quality of the work. I believe their rates are fair, and I appreciate that they're always willing to explain to me in detail what's going on with my car.
They let me know what work needs to be done (and why), and what can wait. They also let me know what to expect in terms of cost, so that I'm never caught by surprise.

I've been going here for a few years. They are friendly and I think honest people, certainty in comparison to the dealer I used to go to. First time I went there because the dealer said I needed new brakes. Mike's crew told me I had at least another 20,000 miles on the brakes and did nothing. They were right. All other work they have done seemed sound. No complaints. They are to be recommended.
