Awful‎
Rude staff. The instructors all have an attitude. There is no energy and exitment, just empty hitting of the balls.‎

Horrible Courts, No AC & Bad Service
I was very disspointed when I played here & especially for the customer service and bad prices. I HIGHLY recommend for you to take a cab to the courts at Sutton Place or Roosevelt Island for nicer courts and an overall better experience. ...

Best in NYC
This is the best little secret in nyc. Been playing here since I moved to the city in 1998 and have seen a great transformation since the new management moved in. The total renovation of locker rooms and courts are amazing and the staff ...

Never Again‎
This place is a mess. I could never get anyone on the phone to actually speak to someone. I was always leaving messages and never heard back but maybe twice. I called to sign up for the September lessons. Of course I had to leave a message. I got a phone call back saying they had availability and Phoebe would put my name down. I faxed over my form. I bought a new racquet. I called on Friday to confirm some info. I got a call back on Saturday and she acted like she never heard of me. My name wasn't on the list. I never received a call back when I returned the call. No one even said they were sorry...nothing. It was very rude. The place isn't that great. Not good enought to have snotty people working. Bad attitude.‎

Great for beginner, lessons, & practice by HB L. at InsiderPages
I've been taking lessons there for a few months, and I like it a lot. The instructors are excellent and very helpful. Also, the people I've met area a lot of fun and very friendly. They've recently renovated the locker rooms and lobby area, and it looks nice. The courts are nice (clay courts) and covered upstairs in the winter with a giant bubble. The only down side, is that it was built in the mid 1960's and if the ball hits the base line, there isn't really enough room to return it properly.
