Due to folds below my lower lips I went to Dr. Midlarsky for Juvederm filler. Dr. Midlarsky suggested she inject my lips so I wouldn't look like I was frowning and remove the wrinkles around my mouth, Now, one side of my lower lip is narrower than the other. It is awful. There is a small lump on the underside of my upper lip about the size of small pea, which are soft to the touch. I went back to the Dr. office a week after the procedure to discuss my concerns and was told by the receptionist (who started a week earlier) that it takes 2 weeks for results. I went back a week after and tried to show the Dr. and was told the Dr. would contact me for an appointment. I was phoned that afternoon by the receptionist and told that "The doctor said, that she looked at my pictures and that's the way my lips were when I came in." (huh? and this "professional" didn't discuss "fixing" my so-called deformed lip?) I was also told "The Dr. did exactly what you asked for." She did not say, Dr. Midlarsky wants you to come in so she can see you. She had not even had the professionalism to get on the phone or ask me to come in to see what the problem was. She had her new receptionist (who had never worked in this field) defend & deny any wrong doing without ever seeing me! After over 5 minutes to listening to it was MY fault, I was told I could come in 2 days later. I did not go and will never go back to a Dr. that does not just accept responsibility but does not act in a professional manner.
