The training works! by Diane S. at InsiderPages
I took my two 7 month old German shepherd puppies in to see the trainers at Metropawlitan Dog in October because they had started to be pretty aggressive to each other, and one of them was aggressive with other dogs too. Megan said she thought we should put the boys in the program where they stay with the trainers for 4 weeks since the aggression was pretty bad and was starting to show up with people too. It was tough to leave my babies for that long, but in the end I realized that it needed to be done before something really awful happened, since they were getting too out of control for me and my daughter to handle. I called almost every day to check on the boys (and probably annoyed the trainers too!) but they always made the time to talk to me and never seemed too busy. I guess they understand that my dogs are like my kids! In the middle of all this I found out I had to move, so Megan offered to keep the boys there as long as we needed to get moved and settled. That was such a relief and so nice of her! They ended up staying close to 6 weeks there before we were able to pick them up, and they had gotten so big! I am so happy with the training that the time they were gone was so worth it. They can sleep together in the same crate now, eat at the same time in the same room together, play with toys together, and there??????s no more of the nasty fights that used to happen. They also used to pull me and my daughter down the street to get to other dogs and now they walk so nice right by our sides. The groomer did a really good job on them too before they sent them home to us, so I would definitely use him again for grooming. Megan helped with the questions I had once I got the boys home and really seems to understand dogs. If you need training help, I say call Metropawlitan Dog!

The Absolute Best! by Kathy S. at InsiderPages
My experience with Metropawlitan Dog has been no less than excellent! I have an 8 year old rottweiler who didn't adjust well when we moved from the country to the city. She was experiencing aggression issues so we enrolled her in Metropawlitan Dog's 4 week in kennel training program. The transformation was incredible. I can easily walk her down the street and I even take her with me on errands. She is a perfect lady! She is even starting to play with other dogs. I can't believe it! The staff is kind and its apparent they truly love their clients. Metropawlitan Dog saved my relationship with my dog and I can't thank them enough.

Great Dog Daycare! by Bzzr H. at InsiderPages
I'm very happy with Metropawlitan Dog. I started taking my dog there to avoid the destruction he was doing due to separation anxiety. I'm working on behavior modification with him at home to help relieve the underlying problem, but in the meantime I take him to day care 1-3 times a week so he'll be occupied while I'm at work.

The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. The always remember his name and are excited to see him. They seem to be genuine and caring dog lovers. I also really like being able to watch him on the web cams.

The location is really great, it's close to both the 94 and I-5. It's easy to hop on and off either one.

Nothing but a positive experience!

This is probably the worst day care place I have ever been to, in relation to doggy day care. They put your dog in a room, barely big enough for a larger dog (lab) to run around or even feel comfortable in. They have doggy cams which was probably the biggest mistake they could have made, cause I watched my dog sit in this room, 8 hours a day, more anxious then I have ever seen her. There is barely any human contact and when there is, it is simply just the employees cleaning up around the dogs. Dogs need to run and play--and be outside if possible. After being at Metropawlitan, my lab would come home, almost in dehydration it seemed, as she would literally drink 3 huge bowls of water as soon as we got home. It was an awful experience for me and I would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their dog. On a positive note, they have the nicest employees, but the place is just not fit for a good doggy day care
