I've been there twice. Once he worked on the car for 5 hours because there was a high-pitched squeak coming from the engine, I thought it was the power steering pump, and it turns out it was a leaky hose, and even after working on it all day he didn't charge me anything because he said he didn't really fix or replace anything, even though he solved the problem. The next time I thought I needed new shocks (the springs), and he attached these rubber stoppers that solved that problem too, and didn't charge me for that either, because it took him 10 minutes, and he had the extra parts just laying around.
