I recently purchased a previously owned home in Kemah and was not thrilled with the way the previous owners left the place. I called Merry Maids to come out and do a pre occupancy cleaning. I was amazed at how much newer the place looked once it was cleaned. I called them again and asked if they could suggest a good carpet cleaner as the carpet now looked dingy since the place was clean. They suggested Area Wide Carpet Cleaning. I called them directly to schedule the service. I was able to get a firm quote over the phone. I've used local companies in the past to clean my last home and no one has ever done the quality job Area Wide did. I'll definitely use both Merry Maids and Area Wide in the future.‎

I contracted them to do a DEEP CLEAN after a bad renter left. I paid more than I would for any other cleaning company for what, I was told, would be a white glove level of service. The job was not done well AT ALL. I called to complain, and they told me they don't give refunds...only re-service until satisfied. I asked them to come back 2 more times and it still wasn't good enough! AND, they don't do windows...that's extra. Evidently their cleaning products are too. Soap pieces were still left in the shower, etc. They have no standard of clean!!‎

First time cleaning with Merry Maids was an easy experience. My wife and I liked the fact that we could make our own cleaning list and price range we wanted to spend. We are currently doing it every other week. Very professional. Thank you for your help..Ginger.‎

I used Merry Maids to clean a one bedroom condo and I am not happy with the service that was provided. They did not do the dishes...what kind of maid service does not do the dishes! Items on countertops or tables was just thrown back with no attempt to organize the items or place them back orderly. I will not be using their services again!‎

They Did a very good job cleaning my home and they all so do Carpet Cleaning.. If you are moving out like we did, They will do it all and make it look new, THANK you... Mary..‎
