not for dog owners
We recently decided to try Merry Maids, and when the manager came to my hose to give a price assessment, I asked if it would be a problem that I have a relatively large dog (65 lbs) that runs loose in the hose. She assured me that it was a dog-friendly organization. The first time the maids came out they, unbeknowst to me, asked my retired neigbor to come over and watch the dog while they cleaned for 2 hours because they were scared of the dog! The next time they came, my neighbor was out of town, so they called me and said that they would not enter the house unless I came home from work or called someone to take the dog. When I told them there was a dog the previous time, they told me about how they went to my neighbor. I told them that the dog was friendly, but they refused to enter the house and went home. When I called Merry Maids to cancel my contract with them, I asked the woman how they could call themselves "dog-friendly" and she said that I should have locked the dog ...
