I rented a room for the week, the beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Stray dogs and constant noise. The bar next door is very interesting with the loud music all hours of the night. There is just no way to get sleep there and the staff was totally deaf to my concerns. I rented a beautiful room from a real motel near I-45 for the same price. Should have known the Merry Inn was going to be a problem when I walked into the lobby and saw the manager sitting behind Bullet Proof Glass. Live and learn.‎
