Anyone who lives in La Puente or the surrounding area really needs to check this place out!! They have an awesome staff and a HUGE variety of products. The service you get at this store is INCREDIBLE and the price is almost just as good! I recently visited home depot and lowes to get some bolts for my sons xbox 360 but could not get any help at either place, so I decided to give merritts a shot. I was amazed that the young man was so quick and knowledgable about the product he sells. Ill never shop anywhere else. Thanks much to Richard and the rest of the merritts crew. This store has the best customer service. They have employees that do run and hide when they see customers enter the store. When you have a question they actually take you to the aisle where the product is. They are reasonably priced for the service you get. They carry a wide variety of hardware not just the popular brands like Home Depot and Lowe's often do.

i scoured all of the stores in my neighborhood including retailers on the internet for a specific product i needed to absolutely no avail...until i called merritt's today as a very last resort (i live a couple of blocks away from merritt's but i normally shop outside of la puente because the products in the surrounding stores are quite limited). what do you know! not only did they carry the product i was looking for, but they even had it in immediate stock and it cost less than what i would have paid for it if i had found it anywhere else (retails for $8, but merritt's had it for $5.99)! and, the sales clerk on the phone--although she was certain they carried it at the time of my call--didn't even hesitate to double-check to confirm its availability in-store for me without me having to even ask her first. first-rate in every way! highly recommend! way to go merritts in la puente! all the best to your first-class sales team! Whenever I shop in any store I look for 2 things. One is if they have the product I want. 2nd and most important, is the service I receive. Merritt's has the best service I have experienced in any store. They may not look bug from the outside but once you enter you'll see they havev everything Lowes and Home Depot does and in most cases more. The prices are cheaper than Depot as well. The one thing that sets Merritt's apart though is the help you receive. Whenever I shop there I am approached by several knowledgeable employees. They are not only friendly but very helpful as well. Merritt's also will help in getting your large and bulky items to your car. I have lived and La Puente for over 15 years and I will not buy hardware anywhere else. If you need anything go to Merritt's first.
