Superb doctor! 6 of 5
I had a chance to see Dr. Hoffman last year to laser off some dark spots on my face. The guy is extremely talented, bright and polite. I just happened to stumble along the review now and to see someone else write that he has bad bedside manner -- well, given my experience it's just plain ridiculous. I found him to be a superb doctor who knows his business like no tomorrow, listens to patients and gets the job done. If every doctor were as good as this guy, life would be incredible. It's not though so you have to be thankful when you find someone like this. 5 of 5 for sure. The other reviewer is wrong. In fact, they're dead wrong.

Very impressed by Rick C. at InsiderPages
I saw Dr. Hoffman once and didn't know what to expect. We discussed several options for me and the consequences of each option. He was extremely informative and helped me make the right choice.

In addition, I have special needs that are not typical for a dematology patient. The Dr. was skeptical at first and we nearly ended our relationship, however, his professionalism and level of care for his patient was shown to be exceptional.

I would highly recommend Dr. Hoffman to anyone.

Our family has used Doctor Hoffman on and off for a couple of years. We have found him to do a good job, however I have to say that we are not ecstatic about him and if we found someone else we would probably switch.

Dr. Hoffman was voted one of the top 100 Doctors in the Bay Area. While he is a good M.D., he was gruff and brief in my estimation. I also didn't feel he really listened to my situation or took stock in what I had to say.
