What I liked was their professionalism and attention to the patients.They are busy every time I go in ( busy because they are good), but I never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes before I am called in. I have been to other offices who take HMO's and was treated very badly.

I have been going to this office for years now.They have always treated me nicely. The staff is very kind and the Doctors are thorough and understanding.I especially like Doctor Pourshirazi (the owner). He is vey good. His shots never hurt. Handsome too! :-)

I went in for an exam and consultation regarding implants. Dr pourshirazi was very thorough and gave me all the options. He even brought in Dr Chen who is a specialist and they both evaluated my case. There was no charge from the specialist either.
The staff were friendly and professional and the fees were better than other places I had been to before. I recommend this office to everyone.

I do NOT recommend MVDG. I believe they tried to scam our family! Dr. Pourshirazi seemed professional and actually recommended a more conservative course of treatment. We did like the actual dentist. However, when I met with his office manager, she pushed with going with the most expensive route... contrary to Dr. Pourshirazi who recommended first attempting to save the teeth before just extracting them and going with implants. To make a long story short here, I do not recommend this office because of the manager. The office manager is very condescending and rude, as well as very unprofessional. She recommended $23,000 worth of work (and this is JUST co-pays!?! this IS with insurance paying 50% on many procedures), however she refused to provide a detailed written treatment plan, send our insurance company the exact dental codes of the procedures they were wanting to do, nor submit a pre-authorization to our insurance company after they requested this. In fact, our insurance company had to intervene on our behalf because we were unable to get any information from this dental group. When our insurance called, he was put on hold numerous times, call transfered repeatedly, then finally told he needed to speak with the office manager but she was too busy and could not speak with him. Very "fishy". He called back and was hung up on. He recommended to me that this was VERY suspicious behavior on the dental groups part (not to mention unprofessional), and he recommended not trusting them and going with a different dentist. The suspicion was that Menifee Valley Dental Group was attempting to rip us off by "upselling" us on procedures. They were wanting to do $23K+ worth of work but refused to provide a written plan for EXACTLY what they planned to do. The insurance felt they may have been trying to "upsell" us into going with optional/upgrade procedures not covered by insurance where they can then charge any amount they want (not the pre-negotiated prices they have with the insurance companies). Since it is then outside of the "basic" procedures covered by our insurance, they can "pad" the prices and avoid going thru the insurance and having to adhere to a set or pre-arranged price. PATIENTS BEWARE OF SCAMS!

While I really like some of the doctors, i'm not impressed by the staff. I've received poor communication. I never receive a call back when expected and I'm sure they overbook. Every time I go in for a visit I have to wait in the exam room at least twenty minutes to be seen. Like I said, some of the doctors are really nice, but I am looking for another office.
