Been going to Dr Burger for many years. He has seen my dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, over the years. Always done a great job for a good price. all my pets had loved him and his staff.

i called to check for prices around the area. so i got a price check from them for the diagnostic tests my dog needed. estimated under 100 bucks. once we were done it was well over 200 bucks. all she needed was one medicine and they have to check everything else. what's that about?‎

recently had an FHO done on my 2 year old golden retriever..on 12/17/09 .he could not bear weight on his front legs to walk so I brought him back to Dr. Burger who eventually took x-ray of his front legs and found that he has severe arthritis so bad that If he had x-rayed his front legs when he did the back legs he would not have done the surgery...as a result my dog put so much weight on his arthritic left front leg that the shoulder became subluxated...(moves out of joint) in less than a month of follow-up with another vet and speciality surgeon oh theres that word $$$$$$$$$ specialty now I have spent over $5000...my dog still can not walk so I have to drag him on a rug and clean up after him at least every 3 hours because of the prednisone effect of increase thirst and you know along with that comes increased urination. Cosmo was put to sleep today 1/18/10 one month after surgery...‎

Hospital. The staff there are very caring and helpful. Dr. Burger is a wonderful vet. He diagnosed a problem with my dog that several other vets did not identify, and this was after a 10 minute visit with him. I won't take my animals anywhere else. ...

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Melbourne Animal Hospital. Last December my beagle got in to some hidden Christmas candy that had been tied up in a bag and packaged. She ate a 20 oz. bag of dark chocolate m&m's and a 12 oz. dark chocolate Dove bar, so basically she inhaled 2 pounds of dark chocolate which is toxic to dogs. So I called MAH, even though I had never even taken her there before, and they were so helpful and took her right in and were able to get all of that chocolate out of her! Recently, my little beagle hadn't been feeling well and had not been eating her food and I was unsure of what was wrong or what to do with her. So again, I called MAH and they were able to work her in that day and run some tests to figure out what was wrong. Again they came to my rescue. I also thought the cost would be very high, but they were actually very reasonable and less than what I expected. Thank you so much to the doctor and staff!‎
