My regular (soon to be ex!) mechanic suggested I needed a brake fluid flush - amongst other assorted services - after I paid for a very expensive power steering hose change. Anyway, his $145 quote was more than 2x what Meineke in Ventura quoted. Upon arriving there, they used a sort of lithmus paper to check the condition of the fluid. It indicated the fuild was in no immediate need of changing; that it still had allot of "life" in it. I was so impressed by their honesty and willingness to rush through my vehicle during my lunch hour (and was already there!) that I had them perform the service just the same. A very neat shop with capapble, friendly and honest mechanics. If you need any basic car care and live between Newbury Park and Carp, there's just no need to go anywhere else.‎
