I am a computer geek by trade but taxes befudle me so I went to one of those TV advertised tax places; not good for me. Even I could tell they did'nt really know what they were doing. So next year I went on line and tried turbo tax; more confussion and lots of work figuring everthing out but if felt a little better than when I went to H&R Block. Finally a friend gave me Michael Medkiff's name. He seemed to ask me all of the right questions, (most of which I had never thought of) and compared to previous years, saved me a lot of money. Then for bonus points he gave me some nice planning tips for the future. I felt very well taken care of even if I did not understand everything he did for me. He seemed to know what he was doing, he saved me a lot of money and he had a nice bedside manner. A great combination for me.

I tried Turbo Tax and got stuck on some of the questions. It did give me a decent refund and I was about to send it in. Then I thought I should get a second opinion and I googled CPA and my zip code; Michael Medkiff came up with lots of good reviews so I called him. He called me back and asked me some questions, (I think he was screening me). I make pretty good money so I guess I passed and I made an appointment. His refund number was much higher and he did not get stuck on anything and he came up with lots of stuff I never thought of. A higher refund is better so I went with him‎
