I recently went to see Dr. Warmerdam for an eye condition that has been plaguing me for some time. Over the past few years I have tried several doctors in the Sacramento area and none were to my satisfaction. Long wait times, impersonal interactions, and apathetic service left me unsatisfied.

When I saw an ad for Dr. Warmerdam (a new doctor to Folsom)) I decided to give her a try. Immediately, I was surprised when I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Warmerdam within days of my call. Upon greeting Dr. Warmerdam, her knowledge and skill were immediately apparent as well. Not only did she provide me with the care and service that I expected of a doctor, but she also took time to explain my condition to me in a way that other doctors had been unable to.

Dr. Warmerdam was interested in me as a person, not just as a patient and I could tell that she was truly empathetic to my condition and would do everything in her power to improve my vision and ease my pain and discomfort. She provided me with the different courses of action I could take with regards to treatment and then took time to thoroughly discuss the pros and cons of each. I was most impressed with her kind, intelligent, human temperment. When she was in the room with me I could tell that she was thinking about me only, and not the next patient.

Don't settle for less like I did for too long. No doubt, the best doctor I have ever met.
Too bad I cannot see her for my heart condition as well...

Had to go for an Independent Medical Exam for a disability claim. Dr. Palmer was extremely polite, which I found pleasant after the way some of the doctors who do these types of exams treated me. He was incredibly thorough, explained everything, and even did some tests that might not have been done by another doctor. He explained the results of one test, which gave me information I had been trying to get from at least a dozen doctors over a 10+ year period. The next time I need to see an opthamologist, I'm going to Dr. Palmer of my own accord, not just because I'm being sent to him by someone else. The office staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, as well.
