SAVED from another marital argument!

I went to the Med Center of Marin on my weekend with my daughter (separated). We walked in without an appointment and were seen within 30 minutes. My daughter was very fussy with a running fever and the girls at the front desk were so helpful, asking her if she needed anything while she waited. They gave her some ice water and kept her mind off her fever (without a TV!) We were in and out of there and given medication right there so I didn't have to make a trip to the pharmacy, which was GREAT. I wish places like this were open 24/7 so guys like me can always find a place to go on a minutes notice. Thanks to all the ladies who saved my day (and kept me from a nasty argument with the wife!!!)

Pros: everyone was so helpful

Cons: they aren't open on Sunday

quick and courteous

I am always in a hurry (surprised I stopped to write this) but I had to write because it was so nice to actually be out of a DOCTORS office in less than 3 or 4 hours. I came in on short notice, I fell down some stairs at work and twisted my ankle. The ER is always packed so I tried this place for the first time. Everyone was polite and I was outta there in about an hour and a half, they gave me something for the pain right there and that was it! It was a refreshing change to the grouchy people of the world. Go there if you're in a hurry! Gotta go!

Pros: great if in a hurry

Cons: could be open later

Worst place ever- Stay far away

I'm a nurse practitioner from another state and needed an antibiotic for sinus pain of 3 week duration (i have allergies and suspected a sinus infection) First they made me put on a mask and as soon as i questioned the reason i was put to the bottom of the list. After waiting for 55 minutes the doctor finally came in, looked in my nasal passage and prescribed an antibiotic. It took 2 minutes. The doctor was unbelievably rude, and scolded me for not wearing my mask. Last I checked,sinusitis with no coughing, no fever or other respiratory symptoms is not the same as swine flu. Dr was on a total power trip. Google other reviews of this place, they are ALL bad with the exception of the one on this site ( the doctor probably wrote it). The doc never even looked in my ears or throat. This should be basic procedure when someone comes in with sinus pain. INCOMPETENT!!!!

Quick, knowledgeable medical care

Glad a clinic like this exists. Regular MD was booked solid and didn't want to [or need to] go to the ER. I was feeling pretty bad with a cold and sinus pressure. Dr. Curtis and his staff were caring. He did a full work-up and gave me medicines. In and out in about a half an hour. Will go back if my regular doctor can't accomodate me again on short notice.

Pros: Quick, caring and knowledgeable. Easy to get to.

Cons: paper gowns [hasn't the medical community ever thought of using cotton?!?!]

Recommended: Yes
