From my personal experience, Mindy is a terrible DUI lawyer. Don't let her fake confidence fool you. Before she got my case, she had talked to me in a very comforting manner (of course made no promises as it's illegal), but made an impressing that the case was in good hands. She told me I had to pay in full before she would start the case, so I did so. Once she got the money, her attitude completely changed! She was so disrespectful and accused me of micro-managing my case, which was not true and I was merely sending her some more evidence in order to provide her with more information (She could just trash those reports, etc. if she didn't need them!). I swear I didn't even call her once a month, and each time I did she talked in a very disrespectful manner and I was feeling like I had to "defend" myself when talking to her, rather than I had hired her to defend my case!

She delayed my hearing for about a year, which was so frustrating. Once the court heard the case she told me I had to go jail and cannot convert it to a work-release, and it was not true. I went to the court myself later on and did convert the case to a work-release. Basically, she lied to me.
Overll, I realized that not only hiring her had no benefit on m case, but also had many many disadvantages.
Terrible attorney.
