Save your money! by Jane D. at InsiderPages
This Talent agency is much like any other agency. A business this is only interested in one thing, YOUR MONEY! They have no problem telling someone who has no hope of making it in the modeling world, that they have what it takes, just sign here and make your check payable to Ann McCright. Very sketchy business practice.. you might as well invest your money on the psychic friends hotline.

Boutique Agency by Bob H. at InsiderPages
One of the only agencies in Bakersfield, it gets actors and models auditions seemingly at random. They never seem to have forgotten about me though, no matter how little I have called them this year. Frankly I have had to turn down most of their auditions because of scheduling conflicts. But, I'm surprised they keep looking.

Naive purchasers beware, entrance and payment at a modeling/acting school never gets the enrollee a for sure entrance to the requisite agency. They should work on a commission if they are really your agent.

RIPOFF!
I went in hoping to learn something, and I did, but it wasn't about modeling! I ended up paying out of my own pocket close to a thousand dollars and never received anything as far as a call back or any job or casting call. Save your money girls, and look for a better agency. They sure promised me alot and told me how they where the best and everything, as soon as they got a hold of my hard earned money...360 degree change. All of a sudden I am like their slave or something and was told its either this or you never model again...what a bunch of crap! Anyways, be cautious with them and be warned.

Honest Evaluation
I attended McCright Modeling School (1990's) for training and knowledge of the Modeling Industry. I had a great teacher (Susan) and was surprised and pleased at the information I was given. I also understood that there was a Licensed Agent on site but, no guarantees that I would be accepted into the McCright Talent Agency should I chose to audition. I was told I was free to go to any Agent and If I decided to see the Agent at McCright I would have to audition and present myself as a professional ready to work. It also was made clear to us all that there were two separate business. The Modeling and Acting School and the Talent Agency. Two separate business and no guarantee to enter the Talent Agency. Fortunately I was a accepted after my training. I was able to continue and work as a Model for several years while also attending College. Later I married and now have two beautiful children. My little girl will attend McCright Modeling School as soon as she is old enough. My experience was one I will always treasure but, maybe I understood the business better then others and didn't have unreasonable expectations.

Not perfessional what so ever.... by Pamela e. at InsiderPages
I also attended the agency a couple years back. They are a waist of money. They never called and told me about the graduation which i was suppose to attend. I got ripped of for the school, my portfolio and pictures. They would never pay in time and they still expected for me to work. I wouldn't recommend this agency to no one. You shouldn't have to pay to model if they want you let them do all the business not you. That's why they're called an agent some one who wants you. Not some one just wants your MONEY!!!
