I only give this review three stars, as there wasn't anything that really stood out. The service was good with a friendly staff, and our food came out pretty quickly. My son had the cheese pizza, that he really enjoyed, and it had a wonderful aroma. My wife and I both ordered the fish and chips, which was served as fried fish chunks on top of french fries in a basket. The fish didn't really have much flavor one way or another, so make sure to get plenty of lemons. The fries were plentiful, and very tasty. When looking at the menu online I was excited to see a Belgian white on their list, and wanted to try this, but they were out... so I opted for the smoked porter, which was pretty tasty. While Mattingly Brewing didn't really stand out one way or the other, it's still worth a try if you're in the neighborhood.‎

The beer here was good, much better than the micro produced by the Stable a few blocks away. Service was good but it was a Sunday afternoon with a light crowd. I didnt try any food so I cant say anything about that. Its near the Venice Cafe, a stop here before a band would be in order since Venice only has mass market brews. I'm going to try them for happy hour in the near future.‎

This was the worst food I have eaten in a long time. The pizza was terrible (soggy, gross crust), the calamari was chewy and weird, and the greek salad consisted of romaine lettuce with soggy bread pieces. They were WAY understaffed, so it took 2 hours (not kidding, 2 full hours) to get my entire meal. It was so bad that I felt compelled to figure out how to write a review to warn others.‎
