great quality good portions friendly and fun iy is not cheap

The food is always very fresh. The service is excellent and the sushi is the freshest in Houston...wouldn't go anywhere else, have been there, done that...their the best!!!!!

Matsu has the best sushi we've ever had. The service is good, the atmosphere is fine, the price is a bit high, but it's all about the sushi for us, and theirs is excellent - fresh, and generously portioned, we haven't found anybody who can beat it in Houston. When you want top notch sushi, this is the place.

We eat there about every two weeks since we have found it to be consistently very good.
Staff is amusing, efficient, and friendly.
Sashimi always fresh and excellent.

Excellent food, service is OK, overall good, bar seating area is nice with a group of friends and back room is great for a loud group
