Marshall has a great, large selection if you need sheet music for anything. They are also willing and can order anything they don't carry. I wouldn't buy instruments here. Whenever I go to look for instruments, they are all dusty and look like they've been kept in storage forever and don't sound all that great. They also offer classes.

If you are looking for sheet music and instruction books this is your place. The selection is huge. There are several instructors for a variety of instruments. We have tried instruction for piano and bass. Piano was o.k. and the bass lessons were very good. This would not be my first pick for buying instruments, the selection is limited. The location is good and parking is ample.

Just a couple minutes away from Old Torrance is the Marshall Music store. Don't be confused by the name however: their selection of musical instruments is subpar. It is a great place, in fact the best place, to find sheet music. The huge warehouse like building holds tons of sheet music in every genre or style. And if you can't find what you're looking for, they even have a computer that accesses a databases of songs so you can print out what you need. The customer service is so-so, depending on who is helping you out. If you're looking for an instrument, try looking somewhere else. But if you need music, Marshall is the place to go.
