Thank you SO much
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful service that you get when you walk into this place. My brother was getting married and he chose this place to stay and have the reception. It was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. The doorman was honestly kind and very nice, was dressed appropriately for the type of service they rendered. He spoke with people when they walked by and saw the hotel itself, which is daunting. Even tipped his hat!!! Loved it.
The resturaunt was exceptional. The food was wonderful. We got to choose from crab cakes, salmon(I think) or Kobie beef burgers. I chose the Kobie beef burgers because I never have had a chance to try them and they are sooo very moist and juicy, it was bigger then any burger I have ever seen but no so huge you couldn't finish it. Even with it more pink then I liked it, it still was awesome. That is a lot for me to say, I don't like it red or even pink. The salad that they served you to begin with was just the best, it was the spring salad type with a rasberry vinagrette that will knock your socks off. Then they had a palette cleanser that wasn't too tart or sweet but was very refreshing and cool. The champagne was the best I think I have ever had, and for the life of me cannot remember the name but it was in a green bottle with older type script on it. FABULOUS! The dessert was OMG. I can't even explain it, it was designed so cute and the taste was of key lime and chocolate. Shaped in a pyramid with little mini chocolate chips at the bottom and these fun like wafer gogo legs at the top. I thought it was very amusing and fun!! The tartness of the key lime was phenominal, I did love it and it was very creamy and light but VERY rich. I couldn't finish it no matter how hard I tried, especially after eating the Kobie burger.
The waitstaff I have to say, WAS on top of their game. There was never a second that they weren't right there, helping, taking, filling and just making you feel like a celebrity. Thank you!
