Great waterfront location perfect for the entire family
I love this museum and highly recommend you check it out. It is located next to the Star of India right downtown on the water.
- go aboard the pirate ship HMS Surprise, a 179-foot full rigged replica of a 24 gun frigate of Great Britain's Nelson era Royal Navy.
- half-hour excursion on San Diego Bay aboard the museum's historic 1914 Harbor Pilot Boat
- Special NOAA and Smithsonian traveling exhibit "From Sea to Shining Sea" through Oct '07

THE FESTIVAL OF SAIL: It's one year away, but the tall ships will be returning to San Diego August 20 - 24, 2008. This may be a good time to become a member and sign-up to help them with this wonderful event.
