Terrible Oil Change Experience
When I checked in, the service writer I had an appointment with was late, so some other personnel just logged my car in and gave me a receipt. They did not check the bodywork of my car for dents, etc, which is a standard procedure to ensure the owner that the dealership acknowledges the condition of the car going in and that any damages to the car while in the garage will be the responsibility of the garage. I was never called back by the service writer to verify my car was ready to be picked up. I had to call myself just before I left work to ensure the car will be there. When I went to the cashier to pay, the cashier was not very friendly and very slow to react to my presence at the window. Her first words to was "Name...", in an impatient and surly manner. When I saw my car arrive, I also notice there was no courtesy carwash unlike every other dealership I have been to for service. In fact, the worse part of the experience was there was greasy hand prints all over the car body and black greasy fingerprints on the driver side seat and the passenger door fabric! I quickly waved back the driver who delivered the car and complained about the grease marks on the fabric seat. Without a verbal response, grudgingly went back in and brought out an old solvent soaked rag to wipe off the driver seat prints and went on his way. When I pointed out the passenger side door, he gave me major attitude and said that the machanics would never enter the passenger side doors and that the grease stain was not theirs and walked off in a huff. The next day, in bright sunlight, I also noticed a very pronounsed scuffed area of vinyl at the lower portion of the glove complartment. It looks like a scuff that may have been made by the sole of a shoe of someone sitting at the passenger seat. I am very dissapointed at the scuff marks since it canot be repaired and its a brand new car. I will never go back .

Positive Test Drive Experience
I went to Toyota to do some test driving and I honestly had no idea what to expect because I've never shopped for a car before. Brandon Vellandi ended up helping me and he couldn't have been nicer and completely understood when I said I wasn't buying today and that I was just starting my research. He seemed to know his cars and gave me the base model of the Corolla to try out. After deciding I wanted a car with a bit more power he suggested the Camry which I liked a lot better. I felt very at ease with him, he didn't try to find out how much I made, how much monthly payments I could afford, etc. Unfortunately I think I might end up going with the Honda Accord but if my heart was set on the Camry I would definitely give him first shot at making me an offer. (I wish that the other salesman and woman at Nissan and Honda were like him!)

Pros: No pressure test drive
Cons: Since I just test drove the car and didn't do any negotiating, I have no cons

I took my Lexus here for repairs. The salespeople said ok, less than $300. I got a call later, your battery needs changing, your engine needs cleaning, your tires look bald, ...

Honest service shop!
"I just thought I should share this.........

I took my car into Miller Toyota in Culver City because of some brake problems I was having. They quoted me for new brakes and rotors in the front and new brakes and an axle seal in the rear. The total estimate for the job was $1720.00. I said not to do the work.

The next morning I took the car to Marina Del Rey Toyota. I just dropped the car off and did not tell them anything about my visit to Miller Toyota. They quoted me $598.00 for the same job. They said my rotors where fine, and some other part did not need to be changed.

This is a huge price difference, Thank you Marina Del Rey Toyota for doing an honest repair!!"

Best Toyota Recall Repairs by M D A. at InsiderPages
My husband and I love Toyotas and we have two of them. A while back there was a recall for something fairly major and my husband took each car to Marina del Rey Toyota and they did the work without any problem. My Dad has the same model Toyota and he took it to his local Toyota dealership. His Toyota dealership told him that his car didn't need the recall work done to it. We were skeptical, so my husband swapped cars with my Dad for a week. My husband took my Dad's car to Marina Del Rey Toyota and they performed the recall work, no problem!
