Margaret's Cleaners is the premier place for saving your precious wardrobe peices. I spilled red wine on a white outfit while on vacation. The dress sat for 3 days in my suitcase, until I returned to San Diego to have it cleaned. Margaret's got it out - completely. A black permanent marker stained a leather handbag and Margaret's made it perfect again. Time and time again, they have proven they can work magic. It's a prestine facility, 3 locations, and they package your items with more care than the store it was purchased.

They do beautiful work! I don't take all of my clothes here to be cleaned because they are very expensive. But they are experts in working with anything that has bead-work or anything that is hard-to-clean. I also used them to preserve my wedding dress, and I was pleased with the results. I have also used their seamstress and she did a wonderful job for me on a bridesmaid dress too!

I have driven from Alpine to Margarets in La Jolla. It is worth the drive to have a special garment dry cleaned, like suede pants. They did an great job. The last pants I had cleaned by someone else were ruined, and I was not going to take another chance. I also understand Margaret cleans handbags. I will be taking my white leather bag to them next week.. I recommend this business.

First off... the prices are really really expensive. But, when you are taking your wedding dress to a cleaners, you have to spend the money...
Second... their drivers are not knowledgeable or courteous.
Here's what happened... I had my dress steamed only... My dress was deliverd at my hotel on my wedding day in a plastic bag... my maid of honor noticed that there were black pen marks on the side of the dress (in the bag still). We called, they were coming back to take it to the site to reclean the dress (which was NOT dirty to begin with). After about an hour they called back saying that with traffic they wouldn't be able to clean the dress and get it to me in time. The driver then insisted that we damaged the dress and it wasn't their fault. - all of this happened on my wedding day.
I wore my dress. it was beautiful. I didn't even worry about it being dirty... and NO one noticed.
I complained a few times by phone messages, emails and hard mail letters. Finally, after 3 months of complaining, they refunded my money. They didn't fix the problem, but at least i didn't have to pay them
I know many people who swear by them... but i was not impressed.
