It was around Christmas time and my sister and I decided we wanted hot cocoa so we went in there and ordered 2 small hot chocolates. The guy asked us if we wanted whipped cream and marshmallows, and I said yes, because I had gotten it there before and the woman put it on there and didn't charge us extra, and if something cost extra and you didn't order it, why are you going to ask? So when he rang up the total, it was almost $9 dollars because he had charged us 70 cents for whipped cream and 70 cents for marshmallows for each cup. We were freaked out about the price for 2 lousy cups of hot chocolate and we asked why it was so much and he told us, and I told him last time that they didn't charge us for that, and he flipped out! I then said we only wanted 1 then, and he said, "how about you don't get either one" and he grabbed both cups of hot chocolates and turned around. I could not believe how rude this man was, and I'm guessing he was the manager. I will never step foot in there again because of the memories it brings back. I recommend going there if you would like to meet Scrooge in the flesh (before the 3 ghosts, that is). The ice cream is good of course and that's always the same, but the people there are rude and unfriendly.

If you're in San Antonio you have to go visit Marble Slab at the Rivercenter Mall. They are right outside the doors of the mall on the river level. Not only will you get the best ice cream in the world, you'll be greeted by an outstanding staff. The lines can get long during summers, but it's worth the wait!‎

on the Riverwalk, go to Marble Slab Creamery between Hooters and Starbucks at the Rivercenter Mall. Their new location is gorgeous and the staff is friendly and always helpful ...

The best ice cream I've ever tasted! If they don't have your favorite then they can make it up for ya!

The line may be long, but it's well worth the weight to enjoy this great ice cream, a huge variety of mixin's and of course, the waffle cones. This place is great!
