Dr. Niebergall is a very smart guy. He definitely knows his stuff. More to the point, his staff is also very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. I visited this office because I found them on Google. I'm fairly new to Malibu and needed to see someone immediately for my loose crown. Dr. Niebergall's staff managed to squeeze me into their busy schedule the next day. When I arrived, they helped me very quickly and made me feel comfortable. My dental issues were explained very thoroughly and all questions were answered with smart, informed responses. The work was done efficiently and with a smile. Dental visits are rarely fun -- especially to a new office -- but I'm glad I found this office and took a chance. Thank you!‎

I am terrified of dentists and had not been for over 6 years. I had a sudden terrible tooth/gum ache and they took me in right away that day. His staff was amazing and his equipment is state of the art - they obviously takepride in thier technology. Dr. Niebergal took his time to tell me what he was doing and I am completely cleared of my fear of dentists.‎

This doctor was recommended to us 20 years ago when we first moved to Malibu, and I do not hesitate to recommend him to others. Dr. Niebergal's work is so good that my extended family comes in from London, Palm springs, Palos Verdes, and Seattle to have their teeth worked on. He can spot problems and has an excellent reputation among the specialists he has sent us to. The comment about David's bedside manner made me laugh because he does not mask anything. He told my husband that our 13 year old daughter might have cancer in her jaw bone in front of her. My husband was furious, but it made us act immediately. We couldn't get her into surgery fast enough! It turned out to be a rare cyst and the surgeon he recommended was superb. He is none the less a very nice, caring person as well as direct and to the point. There are so many dentists who are sticky sweet but quacks, and it is hard to tell with dental work until it is too late. Go to Niebergal and deal with whatever he tells you to do to save your mouth!

Dr Niebergal is an excellent doctor. I think you mistook his cool demeanor and laid back surfer personality the wrong way. Who knows, maybe your teeth were bad and you might be really sensitive about it. He is a VERY cool doctor! He's also obviously honest too!
