Lots of good finds
Located right inside the Pathmark Mall. Major Records and Videos carries a wide variety of Music, DVD's, Poster and other stuff. The prices could be better. There is lots of parking because of the shops location.

A record store by alma m. at InsiderPages
They have all the basic cds and videos that are popular of late. Britney Spears, Madonna that kind of thing. But it you are in the market for some vintage classics whether its video or DVD you may be better off searching on the Internet instead. The selection is so so and the prices are the same. No real deals here.

Overpriced! by joey a. at InsiderPages
Majors records is a small cd store that is very disorganized. they has so called hard to find cd's. The prices are ridiculous. They charge double what a normal cd is and these arent even collectibles or signed. The staff does know a lot about cd's so if you have a question they are the ones to ask.

Majors by Jill M. at InsiderPages
I can't believe these guys are still in business. The cds that they sell (or don't) are all priced above $20 each. $20 EACH!! That is insane. I could understand if they were collectibles, but these are regular cds. They have a large selection, but I don't see how or why people would buy from them. Go to best buy.

Majors Records & Video by Alexis M. at InsiderPages
Complete rip off. Prices are insanely high. I don't understand how they are in business with newly released cds selling for $23-$25. The store is cramped, dirty and not lit properly. I am all for shopping at local businesses not owned by big corporations, but I value my dollar more, especially when I can buy 2 cds for a price of 1 at Majors. Not good at all.

PROS: None.
CONS: Everything.
