Best bridal salon in Houston
If the reviewer 'houston23" thinks David's Bridal carries quality gowns, she clearly knows nothing about quality -- not knocking them, but designer gowns, they are NOT -- low budget, yes, and they are almost all of the same heavy fabric and basic design. Maison de Mode has a fabulous selection of unique and gorgeous gowns and in a great range of prices. We had appointments at ALL of the top salons in Houston (yes, we even went to the chain stores, David's and Angelo's), but Maison is where we returned and where my daughter found the dress she loved. Service was great, too. Sounds like the "bad" reviewers here have a chip on their shoulders about something (out of their price range, maybe?), but as a mom I wuld recommend starting at Maison if you want to save a lot of time and gas.

Wonderful Bridal Salon - Unique styles and outstanding service
I am puzzled by the negative reviews. Maison de Mode carries many of the same designers' dresses as all of the other top salons in Houston and I do consider this one of the best We saw nothing but excellent quality gowns and experienced the very best service. My daughter's La Sposa gown is as stunning as she is and is exactly what she wanted. I lost count of the number of salons we visited in Houston and in the DFW area and not a single one of them had the selection of designs that Maison carries. This salon is NOT a David's Bridal, Angelo's or any type of store that carries the cookie-cutter dresses, nor is it a high-pressure sales environment. The smile on my daughter's face and her relief in finally finding wedding gowns that suit her unique style was well worth the time it took to find this salon. We had such a wonderful experience with her trying on so many different ones and the prices varied to suit a number of budgets. Brenda and Priscilla were absolute professionals from start to finish and were so helpful and accommodating of our needs. We enjoyed every visit. They do have extended hours on some evenings and are open Sundays at least part of the year. We would recommend Maison to anyone looking for a wedding gown or other special-occasion dress. Go there first and save yourself time and frustration!

Best bridal shop in Houston
I perused every bridal shop in Houston and Dallas before I finally made it to Maison and none of them compared. All of my anxieties were put to rest the moment I walked into the shop to be greeted by Priscilla. She pointed out the different designers to me and set me pulled down every dress I wanted. I ended up with 15 dresses to try on, which is a huge step from the 1 or 2 I found at other salons. Maison's selection is right up my alley with a section dedicated to "destination gowns" which are also sleeker and more glamorous versions of the big poofy dresses that don the racks of every other shop.

Along with the selection came a staff that catered to my needs. Brenda stayed open late to accomodate my schedule and stood by my side offering suggestions and arranging the train so that my mom could take pictures. My dress arrived today, just a few days after the estimated date and I'm going in for alterations tomorrow. I'll be sure to update the review to include alterations. I am recommending this shop to every stylish and offbeat bride! Don't waste your time anywhere else!

WARNING! This store is awful!
The two owners, Brenda and Neda, are unprofessional women The whole experience was horrible. I had an appointment but it was so crowded that they just handed me the dress I wanted to try on and walked away. When it came time to buy the dress I asked for a discount becasue they told me that I had to buy the dress "off the shelf" because they can not order from this line anymore. Lucky for me the dress fit except the length(a little shorter than I like) So Neda tells me that someone else wanted the same dress, trying to get out of the discount..BULL! She goes to the back to "talk" to her partner & comes back & says that they will give me15% dicount. As I am paying I tell Neda that this was such a horrible experience, she apologizes & says that it was busy & they didn't "know how to handle the volume!" Against my better judgement I buy the dress "off the shelf." I leave, 10 mins. later someone from Maison calls & says that since there were some imperfections on the dress they were going to go ahead and order a new one for me. Of course I'm confused because they told me they "could no longer order this dress anymore!" She said "they found a way to order it and it will be here in July." Fine, 5 mins. later I get a call from Neda & she tells me that since my experience was so bad they are going to order me a brand new dress. I told her that someone already called me & told me that you guys were ordering me a new dress b/c of the imperfections. Of course she is speechless and apologizes again. At this point I am uneasy about the purchase that I look online for the dress I bought and I FOUND it at another place in Houston! I called and asked if they can order the dress and have length added to it (because Maison told me that adding length was not an option with this designer) and they told me "of course we can order it and customize it to your liking!" The dress was only $600..I paid $1200 for the exact same dress at Maison! I returned the dress to Maison!

Don't go here
Ordered a wedding dress that looked great in picture but didn't fit so well. The store made me pay up front and told me that I could return the dress for store credit. I then decided on another wedding dress at another store and tried to use my store credit to order Nicole Miller bridesmaid dress, which I was previously told I could do, and the store refused to order the dresses.
I was told I could only use the store credit on in-store items only. The only thing they have in the store is jewelry and wedding dresses that aren't in my size and have been damages because they are used as "try-ons" for other brides. Basically, the store lied to me about what I could used my store credit for. Go elsewhere!
