I have been a pateint od Dr. Maher for at least 15 years. She is caring, loving and very knowledgeable and willing to do whatever it takes to help you get better. I disagree completely with the 2 people that have had bad reiews about her. She diagnoses so with care and provides the best care. I would never go to any other doctor. She is so sensitive to your needs and will go way out of her way to help any patient that know other doctor will ever do. God bless her and keep her happy and healthy at all times.

I have known Dr. Maher since she was a resident at UCI in the early 1990s. From day one, I loved her and my love even grew more as I became a patient. She has taken great care of my family & I for so many years now and I have nothing but praise for her. She has been my doctor and my guardian angel (I truely believe). She has saved my life many times in my lifetime. She is very sensitive and caring and exteremly bright. As a doctor, she is very competent, up-to-date and compassionate. What more could I have ever asked for!!!!

She has come to my rescue and never has given up on me and my medical problems even though the specailists I saw did give up without throughly looking for anwers. On numerious occassions, it was even proven to me that she knew much more and cared much more than any other doctor I had ever seen. Please do not let the unfair and unjustified comments of just 2 people change your mind about her. She is truley the very best!!!!

I am of the opinion that communication works both ways. You make an appointment, have a list of things you want to talk about, maybe leave some questions with the Dr that she can answer for you when she has time to look over them. Also, why don't you talk to her about your concerns and feelings and give her a chance to fix it, before spreading rumors about her that she can't defend. That's unfair!!!!!
I've been seeing her for years as well as my children and friends, and we have no problems discussing our concerns with her. She is always willing to listen and giving us her honest opinion even if it is something we don't want to hear.
She is caring, sensitive and above all well intentioned.
So next time you have a problem with someone or something ask yourself did I communicate what I wanted to? What could I have done to attain that?
Your words can hurt someone, just like you feel like their words hurt you.
Maybe YOU should apologize.

I read that Dr maher is not caring and get's things wrong; that's not Dr. Maher at all. She is the best family Dr. I have ever had. My brother and I both have been patients of her's for 8 years. I have a very rare type of cancer and without Dr. Maher's help finding a good cancer Dr. I don't know what would have happened to me. I allso suffer from several other conditions that take constant monitoring and she and her staff are alway's there for me.I also have recommened alot of people that I care about to her and they all are very happy with her.

Horrible, no communication and then gets angry with the patient when asked for information regarding a serious diagnosis. I do not know what is going on with this doctor but I will never go to the office again. I am truly shocked at the treatment I received.

Apologize for what? I received horrible treatment and they know they dropped the ball. This is not "spreading rumors? because I am being100% truthful. If Dr Maher felt my comments were untrue, she could obtain my IP address and bring me to court for libel. Since the comments regarding my experience are true, however, I am not worried at all. Dr. Maher let me down and I am pretty sure she feels the same way. It was a bad experience and potential patients have a right to know the good and bad and make a decision themselves. You want to stifle my opinion because it differs from yours when you have no idea of the facts of my case. Worry about your own opinion and leave mine alone, you do not know what you are talking about.
