The Magic Box has toys for kids of all ages! I've found toys for babies, toddlers, teens, and adults. It's a colorful array of games, dressup, dolls, art kits and supplies, and much much more. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their products. They'll help you find just the right toy at the right price. One of many wonderful stores on Magazine Street!‎

I ALMOST had a great experience here this past Saturday, until there was an altercation between an employee and I'm guessing the manager, where the manager screamed at her employee in front of EVERYONE, and slammed a door in the young lady's face ! After I saw that, I put all of my items down and walked out immediately. Although I am a FIRM believer in supporting our local business, I'm not sure if I want to shop there again after I got a first-hand taste as to where/who my money is going to. Although the young lady handled it professionally, I felt very sorry for her, and I hope that this isn't the way she or any other employee there is treated on a regular basis. I went to another toy store (http://www.kitestailstoys.com) and the atmosphere was warm, and the toys & team work was OUTSTANDING ! Plus it was MUCH easier to park nearby, while you have to play musical chairs on Magazine street to get a spot.‎

One of a string of great boutique shops on Magazine, Magic Toy Box houses a candy colored plethora of toys - but not just the usual brand name, cartoon promoted, assembly line stuff you can get at Target or Toys-R-Us. No, Magic Toy Box offers not only an assortment of educational toys, but old fashioned wooden toys, dress up costumes, and fun dolls and dollhouses. Prices are reasonable too.

PROS: Less of the trendy, more of the timeless
CONS: May not offer much for the taciturn kid playing gameboy in the backseat.
