The best shop in town
This shop is fast and acurate. My check engine light was on and I needed a smog check. Pat (the owner) diag'd my Explorer extremly fast and told me I needed a MAF sensor. I bought and put a new MAF sensor on and it sailed thru smog without a problem. This MIA/MIJ also has the best warranty program in town, 18 months/18,000 miles. You'll be hard pressed to find a warranty program over 12/12 in the Sac area. Robert (the service advisor) and Pat care about the customers and always make sure my vehicles are SAFE to drive and NEVER try to sell me repairs i don't need A.S.A.P. They'll tell me if it can wait and for how long! These guys are the best! They even have the best coupons in town, free diags, free tows even shuttle service! You can't go wrong if you place your trust in this shop!

Great shop with great techs
From one Automotive Repair shop to another, these guys are great. We sublet work to them as needed and they have never let us down. They will even answer my questions on the phone and assist me and my techs anyway they can. This is one of the few shops in the area I trust my customers cars with. DISHONEST, will not stand behind their mistake
I had work done by them - I had problems later that turned out to be due their shoddy repair. This was discovered after I took my car to a different and reputable repair shop. Of course, Made in Japan didn't own up to this. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of these guys!

Will not admit mistake on their repair - AVOID
I wlll never go to them again. After a simple repair, my car had problems later on. I decided to try another shop recommended by a friend, this shop discovered that Made in Japan had done the job incorrectly and caused damage to my engine. Made in Japan denies this, but they were the only ones to have done this. They will not stand behind their work.
