WORST CLINIC EVER!
We recieved the worst service taking our dog here. Dr. Alexander Taub is not only incompetent and grossly negligient he is arrogant about it as well. We took our dog in for an infection he had, he was having trouble urinating. Dr. Taub first said it was probably a foxtail and when we told him no it wasn't he then guessed that someone tried to shave him. We also said no we didn't and he rolled his eyes and arrogantly said he would check him out. We left our dog there all day and Dr. Taub said indeed someone tried to shave our dog and it nipped off a bit of skin. This man could not doctor his way out of a paper bag. This was absolutely not true and we will never take our pets there ever. Our dog's old doctor, Dr. Johnson sold the business 3 years ago. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS AND WANT QUALITY CARE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Macy & Thomas Vet Hospital by Susan P. at InsiderPages
We adopted a dog from the animal shelter and were given a list of SPCA approved doctors where we could take him for a free check up. I was thrilled to see Macy & Thomas on the list because I had taken my cat there years before. As it turns out the doctor I had seen with my cat had passed away and the office had relocated and office staff changed. I took my dog and saw the doctor and all was good. The doctor reviewed the shots the shelter had given him and said he would be due for booster shots in a few months and they would send me a reminder card. After a few months when I had not received the reminder card I called the clinic and asked. They could not find any record of my dog in the computer. I explained about the visit and what the doctor had said. Finally they found the form from the shelter for the free visit but that was all. Even though I had explained that I had a cat there years before and wanted to have my dog set up there they threw away all the info I had provided and the doctors notes. It was explained to me that since I was there for the free visit they do not put my dog in the computer system and eventually just throw the paper work away. They only keep the shelters form as proof of the visit for the SPCA records. They offered that I could bring my dog in for an office and they will look him over and tells me what he needs. I lost all confidence and will not take any animal there again.

Horrible Experience by Susie O. at InsiderPages
I took my cat to this hospital after he had been treated at another vet hospital who recommended he have a biopsy to diagnose what was wrong with him. My cat was very very ill. The vet at Macy Thomas was extremely rude. I explained my cat's history to him and told him that my cat was now very weak and that if my cat was too weak/ill to have a biopsy I would rather not do it and instead let my cat die in peace. He insisted on doing the biopsy anyway. My cat died the day he was released. This vet made a quick buck on me, they are a disgrace.

Money before pets
Brought two pets over the past two years and see a pattern of wanting to charge for unnecessary treatment, especially x-rays. They offered a lot of prescriptions, rarely get to see the vet I actually had an appointment with. They canceled a few appointments only hours before the time to arrive. A few of the staff are not very friendly and will lie to you with no problem. The others seem nice.
The vets I saw do not explain things clearly and start mentioning MRIs and surgery on a first visit for something they cannot tell what is wrong. They do not spend enough time or care to see that the pets are cared for or that the owner understands the medicines prescribed. It seems they want you out fast so they can get more money for the day. I should have known when I saw the doctors' hi-end luxury cars at the back of the building.
I left because they made errors three times on the pet's records and condition. They never call to follow up on the pet after treatments.
My pets only got better after going to another vet.

Macy and Thomas Veterinary Hospital is really great. The Dr. and the staff are really great. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they close kinda early and are open Saturdays until 2 PM. They offer different kind of services and the prices are pretty reasonable.
