Avoid. You are better off with Valencia Mac on Cinema Drive or Mac Enthusiasts in Los Angeles, neither of whom I have an affiliation with. I've been a customer at all three.

Another store trying to part you from your money. The prices are ridiculous. I recently called to find out how much it would cost to replace my screen on my ibook. They wanted to charge me just to diagnose (which I obviously don't need since I already know what's wrong but they don't care), the cost of the replacement screen and then charge me hourly to replace said screen. Given that this is not a difficult task (remove old screen, install new screen, turn it to make sure it works - not much else to do) I see no reason why they can't offer a flat right service like many other companies. I was told that a screen replacement could cost anywhere between $450 - $650 by them! Ridiculous. I chose to ship it off to a company that did it for $303 (including 24 hr guaranteed return service after they receive the laptop and ground shipping back to me - overnight is avaliable, though). If zero stars was an option that's what I would've given.

I also purchased a new 3rd party AC plug from them last year for what I later found out to be a ridiculously high price. Too expensive and the customer service is terrible.

If you need anything for your Mac or Ipod, go to Valencia Mac near Trader Joe's instead. I went to Mac Talk looking for some software and will never be back again. When we walked in the store, there were two employees that ignored us completely. There were no other customers in the store so there was no excuse for the treatment that we received. One was working on a computer and the other one was one the phone. No one bothered to say, I'll be right with you etc. On top of that, they did not have what I needed anyway.
