For mac parts and upgrades, macsolutions offers a good selection at good prices. Plus the ship out their orders quickly and efficiently. I bought extra ram online, paid 1/3 of the price Apple wanted, and received everything in two days. They have a decent return policy too just in case, but my experiences with their products and service has been excellent.

Macsolutions definitely pays the most for used Apple computer equipment in West LA. I've sold a few things to them--laptop and desktop--and they were quite professional.
Their repair service is definitely NOT the best deal around, however. Although (mostly) competent, their turnaround is very slow and their prices are somewhat high. I took my iBook to them for repair and they failed to recognize a rather common logic board problem.
Bottom line: Go ahead and buy from there. Get it fixed elsewhere.
