I visited Lu's Garden in Arcadia the other day, it is the cleanest Chinese restaurant I have ever visited. And the service is excellent. The porridge they serve reminds me when I was little in my home town. Just the same as their website said, "Sweet Memories". Love it. I will try their City of Industry location some other time :)

I don't really like eating porridge, but this is really popular with my family after a long trip because they're usually open late. What you do is order a porridge, then order several side dishes to eat with it. It's pretty interesting, but I'd have to say this is an acquired taste.

They mainly serve dishes with either rice or porridge. Most people come here for the porridge, so im probably biased because i don't like rice porridge much haha.

I love to eat their rice soup with the sweet potatoes in it. I also love to eat their small little fish with dried bean curd and spicy peppers. This is a Taiwanese style restaurant.

Lu's garden offers a wide variety of small taiwanese dishes at a very cheap price. There is always something that will suit you. They offer you an option of rice or porridge with your small dish. However, for to-go customers, there is an additional costs if you want porridge. There is also free refills for rice or porridge for dine-in customers. So feel free to have them fill it up for you!
