I've brought my car here several times for part replacements and repairs, and I have always felt completely ripped off. Recently (as in today), I asked Lowcountry VW to take a look at my side view mirror. The mirror itself was broken, with all the other pieces intact except the head needed to remounted. I was told the whole part needed to be replaced costing $660 plus tax. My windshield wiper motor is also worn out and needed to be replaced, which they quoted at $220 for the motor and $255 for labor totaling $475 plus tax. I later went online to look-up the cost of the parts and was shocked to find out that the mirror body and glass only cost $130 and the motor for the windshield wiper $65 (that's almost a 400% markup on that part alone!!!). Does it really take $530 to paint and remount a side view mirror? I think not. I understand that there should be mark-ups on parts and there is a cost for labor, but where do we draw the line? This was by far the most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had! I have purchased many cars in my lifetime and have always been very hesitant in dealing with not only salespeople but dealerships in general. I have owned several different Volkswagens over the years. I traded in my Passat for a new Touareg. I have to commend this entire dealership on how friendly, personable and helpful they have been. From my sales experience when I bought my new car to the service experience when I have had any issues with my car. I have never walked into such a welcoming environment as I did when I entered Lowcountry VW. Sales was so helpful in getting me everything I wanted in my Touareg and explaining everything to me!!! And the service department is exceptional!!! They go out of there way to provide the best service possible! I would recommend Lowcountry VW to everyone who owns a VW!!!‎

I have a 06 vw jetta, that needed a lot of service done to it that I just couldn't afford all at one time. The service dept scheduled the work around my pay periods so that all the car work was done within 2 months, and my car was running smoothly, and most important safely. Thank you to LowCountry VW service dept! I will not take my car anywhere else.‎
