This is a charming restaurant with consistently tasty and carefully prepared food. As a transplanted New Yorker foodie who now lives close by this is one of my favorite local spots. Prices are quite reasonable. The staff is very friendly. Ingredients are fresh. The menu changes relatively little. A very cozy and homey spot.

Romantic, relaxing, superb is best way to describe the experiences we have had every time we have dined at and stayed at this place. The Carmel Valley Escape is the best kept secret for value, variety and excellent get-a-way.
