Nice place you will have fun trust me~~~

Los Lagos is my favorite place to golf in San Jose. The fairways are in great shape, but the greens could use a little work. Very friendly staff, and a good selection of beer for after the round. I would suggest renting a cart, because it is a long walk between certain holes.

This Muni course is known for it's location. It has a large two teer driving range so practice during your lunch break is possible. If you're an accurate hitter you'll like this course. It's greens are fair. It gets lots and lots of play so conditioning and maintenance is a challenge as is it's pace of play . However, compared to Pasatiempo in Santa Cruz it's well located to the evergreen area of San Jose. You'll want to take a cart unless you're use to walking a long course as there's a quite a bit of a distance from their greens to the next tee box. But if you're a "Golfer", you'll want to make the forty minute drive across HWY 17 to enjoy one of the Top 100 Course in the country; Pasatiempo. Los Lagos does a nice job of accepting and encouraging young golfers as well as catering to the experienced set. The double-decker driving range is the icing on the cake!

Its nice to find a course like this - with junior tees for our 9 year old and then long enough for golf enthusiasts. Los Lagos has always been very friendly to our son and have good junior rates during the right times.
